KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's basketball team remains ranked in the region, staying at sixth in the latest D2SIDA Women's Basketball Atlantic Region Poll, released Monday.
 
The Golden Bears (7-3 overall, 1-1 PSAC) split two games on back-to-back nights last weekend. They fell, 68-53, to No. 10 IUP on Friday, Dec. 3, but bounced back to take down Seton Hill, 59-48, on Saturday, allowing a season-low in points defensively against the Griffins.
 
The Crimson Hawks are first, followed by Glenville State, Shepherd, Gannon and California (Pa.), rounding out the top-five. After KU, Fairmont State, West Virginia State, Elizabeth City State, Concord and Seton Hill fill out the rest of the top-10.
 
Kutztown is at Chestnut Hill College this Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m., before a 10-day break until a trip out west in the state.
