KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The seventh-ranked Kutztown University men's rugby team was taken down at the very end against fifth-ranked Navy last Saturday, falling 26-22 in a battle of top-10 teams at the North Campus Rugby Pitch.
 
The Golden Bears (3-1 overall) held a 22-19 lead late in the match, but the Midshipmen was awarded a try as time expired to pull off the victory.
 
Tai Kauwe (Orem, Utah/Pleasant Grove), D'Montae Noble (Falls Church, Va./George Mason) and Trent Rogers (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) all recorded a try for KU. Thorne O'Connell (Johannesburg, South Africa/Jeppe) had two conversions and a penalty kick.
