KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Wintry weather has forced the postponement of Saturday's season opener for the Kutztown University women's lacrosse team.
The Golden Bears were originally scheduled to face Jefferson on the road in Philadelphia, but the teams agreed to move the game to Kutztown on Thursday after Jefferson's field was deemed unplayable. A couple of inches of snow fell overnight Thursday into Friday coating Andre Reed Stadium. More wintry mix is expected overnight on Friday.
A makeup date and location have not been decided at this time.
