KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's basketball team got back to its winning ways in its last game last Wednesday and will look to continue the trend when it welcomes Shippensburg University to Keystone Arena in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 2, beginning at 3 p.m.

The Golden Bears (12-9 overall, 6-7 PSAC) took down Lock Haven on the road 81-76, ending a two-game losing streak. Four KU players reached double-digits, led by junior Josh Townsend (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) and freshman Austin Laughlin (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) both with career-highs of 19 points. Townsend finished with 11 rebounds and two blocks to record his second straight double-double, third in the last four games and fourth in the last seven. Laughlin, who made the first start of his young career last Saturday against East Stroudsburg, one-upped himself by netting a new season-high after dropping 17 vs. the Warriors. He played a season-high 33 minutes at the Bald Eagles.

Leading scorer Anthony Lee (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington), who is third in Division II in scoring at 28.0 points per game (ppg), finished with 14 points. He was one rebound shy of a double-double, ending with nine boards and five assists in 37 minutes. The redshirt-senior extended his streak of consecutive games in double-figures to 50. He is fifth in the PSAC in three-point percentage (41.8), first in three-pointers made (64) and first in free-throw percentage (91.6). He became the third KU player to reach 2,000 career points earlier this season. Lee needs 14 points to pass Shippensburg's all-time leading scorer Dustin Sleva (2,071 career points) and move into eighth all-time in PSAC history.

Facundo Arens (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Bahia Blanca) was the fourth Golden Bear in double-figures, dropping 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting in a career-high 35 minutes of action.

The KU offense ranks second in the PSAC in scoring at 84.1 ppg while Shippensburg is fifth defensively, allowing 68.7 ppg. KU is shooting 49.6% from the floor, second in the PSAC. Kutztown leads the conference in defensive rebounds, grabbing 28.7 per game.

Moe Williams (Townsend, Del./Life Center Academy) has five double-doubles this season. He ranks fourth in the PSAC at 9.2 rebounds per game. Ricky Hicks (Coatesville, Pa./Polytech) has started 19-of-21 games and ranks 10th in the PSAC with a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio.
