Men's basketball dropped by late Wilmington run

WILMINGTON, Del. -- Jordan Harding hit the go-ahead jumper with 1:45 remaining and host Wilmington (Del.) outscored Kutztown men's basketball team 10-4 from that point forward to claim a 74-69 non-conference victory Saturday afternoon.

Akello Mosby (Philadelphia, Pa./Carver) scored a career-high 18 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked three shots in 25 minutes off the bench to lead KU (4-5), while Wesley Butler (Reading, Pa./Reading) provided 17 points and Kyree Generett (York, Pa./William Penn) 13. Butler finished 6-of-10 from the floor, 2-for-4 from three and 3-of-6 at the free-throw line. He came in a perfect 23-for-23 from the charity stripe. The loss snaps a two-game win streak for the Golden Bears.

Kutztown trailed throughout the first half, falling behind by double digits (13 points twice), but rallied in the second and went in front by nine at two different points, before the Wildcats came back to win it.

Kutztown returns home and is back in conference play when it hosts Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference foes Slippery Rock (Dec. 20) and Edinboro (Dec. 21) on back-to-back nights with 7:30 p.m. tip-offs.
