KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's volleyball team fell to Seton Hill University in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-14 and 25-17 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match Friday night inside Keystone Arena.
The Golden Bears (7-12 overall, 1-8 PSAC) got a match-high 15 kills from junior
Holly Owen (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham), her most kills in the last seven matches. She totaled 63-percent of the team's total kills (24) on the night.
Sydney Wilson (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) tallied nine assists and 12 digs, and
Abbey James (York, Pa./West York Area) recorded nine assists and 10 digs.
Alli Henderson (Boalsburg, Pa./State College) finished with two kills and eight digs for KU.
The Griffins (9-7, 5-3) almost doubled the Maroon and Gold in kills, as they totaled 45 and had a .308 hitting percentage through the three sets, including .333 in the final two sets.
Kutztown is back out on its home court tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 19, against California (Pa.) at 1 p.m.
