KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's basketball team will be honoring three seniors before its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game against East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday night, Feb. 21 inside Keystone Arena. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Ethan Ridgeway (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin), Rafiq Marshall (Philadelphia, Pa./Simon Gratz (Cheyney)) and Demetrius Bennett (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh (Neumann)) will play in their final home regular season game Wednesday when the PSAC East fourth-place Golden Bears (19-5 overall, 15-5 PSAC) host the second-place Warriors (19-5, 16-4). ESU won the previous meeting back on Jan. 20, 101-95 at Koehler Fieldhouse, and was won eight of the last 11 games dating back five seasons.

Ridgeway is a four-year member of the Golden Bears, a two-year starter, and a team captain. He has played in 112 games during his career. Ridgeway set the school-record for assists in a game with 16 earlier this season, and also set the school-mark for assists in a season with 260 last year, on his way to being named to the All-PSAC East First Team and All-Region Second Team. He also ranks first in program history with 661 career assists, ranking him fifth all-time in PSAC history, and fourth among active players in Division II.

Currently, Ridgeway is second on the team with 17.9 points per game and leads Division II with 8.2 assists per game. He has 1,231 career points, 15th in program history. Ethan was recently named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Media Organization Team of the Year, earning Player of the Year honors, giving KU its fourth recipient since the award began in 1997. He was also named the PSAC East co-Athlete of the Week this week for the second time this season. The West Chester native will graduate in the Fall with a degree in Communication Studies.

Marshall has started 19-of-24 games this season after transferring from Cheyney University. He averages 10.1 points per game, third on the team, including going for 22 points in his return to Cope Hall, a 93-59 KU win over Cheyney last Saturday. For his career, Marshall has scored 907 points and has over 200 assists. The Philadelphia native will graduate in May with a degree in Business-Marketing.

Bennett is a team captain and a three-year member of the Golden Bears after transferring from Neumann University following his freshman season. He has played in 33 games throughout his career. Bennett is coming off back-to-back four-point games against Millersville and Cheyney last week. He had career-highs with three steals and three assists in 13 minutes of action in KU's season-opening win over Penn State Schuylkill. A native of Conshohocken, Bennett will graduate this May with a degree in Business-Marketing.

In an important game towards seeding and playoff implication, Kutztown would like to avenge its loss to East Stroudsburg nearly a month ago. A KU win would go a long way towards securing a top-two seed with just one more regular season game to go at Lock Haven University on Saturday, Feb. 24. With first-place Shippensburg travelling to take on third-place West Chester Wednesday, PSAC men's hoops fans will have their eyes glued to the scoreboard of Keystone Arena and Hollinger Field House.

ESU and KU are one-two in the PSAC in scoring at 94.4 points per game and 88.0 respectively. Look for another fast-paced, high-scoring game Wednesday night with a lot on the line.
