KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The 12th-ranked Kutztown University women's soccer team played 110 minutes of scoreless action against 10th-ranked Bloomsburg University on Wednesday afternoon in a top-12 nationally-ranked Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup at Keystone Field.
The Golden Bears (13-3-1 overall, 11-3-1 PSAC) still control their own destiny when it comes to a top-four seed and hosting a PSAC Quarterfinal Round game next Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Each team had its share of opportunities in each various half.
The Maroon and Gold controlled the first half and had a 4-2 advantage in shots, but the Huskies (12-2-2, 11-2-2) were on the offensive end in the second half, outshooting KU 6-2 and then 4-1 in the second overtime for 12-7 overall.
Kutztown hosts Pitt-Johnstown this Saturday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at Keystone Field for senior day.
