KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team gave its senior class a proper send-off on Senior Day, Saturday afternoon, winning 156-102 over Millersville and falling 154-103 to LIU Post, to secure the program's sixth win of the season, its most since the 2011 campaign.
The Golden Bears posted six existing PSAC marks on the afternoon, continuing to hit their postseason qualifying times as they ramp up for the PSAC Championships in York, which are now three and half weeks away, running from Feb. 21-24.
Senior
Bridget Perdoch (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) was responsible for two of those six PSAC qualifying times in the tri-meet, performing admirably in her last ever swims at Keystone Pool. Perdoch finished atop the podium in the 100-breast with a time of 1:11.06, an existing PSAC mark for the Yardley native. She then followed that with another existing PSAC time in a fast 200-breast field, claiming third with a time of 2:37.41.
Claire Frank (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) improved her qualifying time in the 100-back, finishing second in the event with a mark of 1:00.37, a full second faster than her previous season-best of 1:01.50.
Lindsay Brenneman (Dover, Pa./Dover Area) notched two existing PSAC times on the afternoon, claiming first place in the 1000-free with a time of 11:07.80 and finishing third in 200-fly, touching the wall in 2:18.65.
Kara Jones (Greencastle, Pa./James Buchanan) finished right in front of Brenneman in the 200-fly, completing her swim in 2:18.50, the Golden Bears sixth PSAC qualifying time of the meet.

This group has collected many accolades during its tenure at Kutztown, boasting a combined 15 PSAC Championship appearances, 13 2018 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks, 7 all-time top-10 marks, 13 Dean's List honors and 8 PSAC Scholar-Athlete selections.
KU has one final meet before heading to York, traveling to East Stroudsburg for the ESU Invitational next Saturday, Feb. 3 for a noontime start.
