Golden Bear Football Welcomes Pat Taylor as Offensive Line Coach

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University head football coach Jim Clements is proud to welcome Pat Taylor as the team's new offensive line coach and academic coordinator for the upcoming 2017 season.

Taylor is coming off six seasons at Lycoming College, his alma mater, from 2011-16. He coached eight all-conference selections in his three years of coaching the offensive line (2014-16), and was also the run game coordinator for his final two seasons.

Before transitioning to the offensive line, Taylor spent three years as the coach of the team's running backs. In that time, he coached at least one running back to all-conference honors in each of his three years, while also coaching two Academic All-District picks and one all-region back. Most notably, Taylor guided Lycoming's Craig Needhammer to become the program's all-time leader in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, all-purpose yards and total touchdowns.

A 2009 graduate of Lycoming College and a two-time Second Team All-MAC selection as an offensive lineman, Taylor helped lead the Warriors to the 2008 MAC title while serving as a team captain.

Along the way, Taylor helped the team's all-time leading rusher rack up more than 1,100 yards during the 2008 campaign, along with a second team all-conference quarterback.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Taylor resides in Barnesville, Pa.
