Complete Game Notes

SERIES HISTORY:
Saturday marks the 62nd meeting between the Golden Bears and Golden Rams, dating back to 1937. West Chester has won the last four matchups, as KU's last win was in 2011 (24-0) and last win at University Field was in 2010 (45-23). Prior to 2010, West Chester had won the previous six matchups.

LAST WEEK: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) ran for 157 yards and four touchdowns and after trailing 13-6, led Kutztown to 35 unanswered points and a 41-13 road win at Millersville in the PSAC East opener at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium. The Golden Bears put up 559 yards of total offense – 309 on the ground – behind their third starting quarterback in four weeks.

SACK LUNCH: Kutztown averages 4.50 sacks per game, second-most in school history behind a record 4.7 per game in 1985. KU is coming off 9.0 sacks last week at Millersville, tied for second-most in program history. It was the most for KU since it had a school-record 11 on Oct. 5, 1985, at home against East Stroudsburg. KU All-Time Team member Tracey Wright had a school-record 7.0 sacks that game.

RUSHING ATTACK: Kutztown ranks third in the PSAC - 26th in Division II at 216.0 rushing yards per game. It is the second-most per-game in school history, behind a record 250.4 in 1977, when KU went 7-2, 4-1 in the PSAC.

THE REYNOLDS RAP: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) has run for 528 yards this year and is coming off a four-touchdown game at Millersville. His 132.0 yards per game currently ranks second in school history behind a record 139.3 set by KU Hall of Famer and All-Time Team member Darrien Peoples in 1996. Reynolds ranks second in the PSAC in all-purpose yards (194.5 - fourth in Division II), rushing yards (132.0), yards per carry (7.65) and rushing touchdowns (8).

100-YARD RUNNER: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) is in the midst of three straight 100-yard rushing games, a first for KU since Yorel Prosser in 2001. The last time a Golden Bear ran for four 100-yard games was in 1997, when Emneko Sweeney put up eight-in-a-row.

BIG PLAY ABILITY: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) has a team-high 10 plays of 20 yards or more this year, nine runs and one catch.

LEAVING A LEGACY: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) has a chance to rewrite the KU record books in his senior season. He ranks second all-time at KU with 26 career receiving touchdowns and 2,355 receiving yards, and third with 171 catches.

KELLEN'S CORNER: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg), a two-time All-PSAC East wide receiver, ranks seventh among active Division II players in career receiving touchdowns, ninth in receiving yards and 10th in receptions. He has four touchdowns this season - fifth in the PSAC - and has caught a pass in 32-of-36 career games.

DEFENSIVE LEADER: Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) has made 27 consecutive starts at linebacker for KU. A two-time All-PSAC selection, Delp has notched 10 or more tackles in 11 games in his career, including twice this season. He leads KU with 35 tackles this season, eighth in the PSAC at 8.8 per game, and ranks 13th all-time at KU with 240 career tackles and 14th with 12.5 sacks.

APPROACHING 250: Senior linebacker Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) is approaching 250 career tackles. He enters the weekend with 240, 13th in school history, and 10 tackles to 250 would move him into the top-10 in KU history.

PART-IN ME: Troy Parton (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) ranks second in the PSAC with 7.0 receptions per game, highlighted by a career-high 15 catches against Mercyhurst, two shy off the school-record.

PERRY'S PICKS: Jake Perry (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) hauled in his first two career interceptions at Seton Hill. He is one of 10 players in the PSAC with two-or-more interceptions.

BLOCKING THE BLOCKERS: After allowing four blocked punts in the first two weeks, KU has sured up its coverage with none in the last two weeks. However, KU's four blocked punts allowed remain the most in the NCAA this season, across all divisions.

MAGIC NUMBER = 24: KU head coach Jim Clements is 11-1 in his Kutztown career when holding opponents to 24 or fewer points. His only loss was to Mercyhurst earlier this season (L, 19-23).

STOPPING THE RUN: KU's success under second-year head coach Jim Clements has stood true with its defensive ability to stop the run. Under Clements, KU is 9-1 when holding its opponent to less than 100 yards rushing. His only loss was to Mercyhurst earlier this year.

SEASONED VETERANS: Offensive linemen Jordan Morgan (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Northwest), Ben Cregger (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove), Brian Robbins (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and Skyler Panchari (Pottsville, Pa./Blue Mountain) are all returning starters. Combined, they have played in 117 career games.

STARTING CENTER: Junior Ben Cregger (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) has made 26 consecutive starts at center for Kutztown.

TEAM CAPTAINS: Kutztown's team captains for the 2016 season are Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall), Jordan Morgan (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Northwest) and Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg).

PASS ATTACK: Dating back to 2011, Kutztown has thrown 30 or more pass attempts in 38 of its last 47 games (80.9 percent).

SENIOR RB DUO: Senior running backs Darrell Scott (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) and James Wah Jr. (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) are in the midst of their senior seasons. Having split carries for most of their careers, the duo has combined for 2,577 career rushing yards and 21 touchdowns to go along with 63 combined games of experience.

SENSATIONAL SOPHOMORE: Tajier Jefferson (East Orange, N.J./Queen of Peace), the returning PSAC East Freshman of the Year, is second on KU with 33 tackles. He has three career 10+ tackle games. Last year, he had 70 tackles in his first year on the field, the most by a KU freshman in more than 20 years, and ranked in the top-five in the PSAC with 16 TFL.
