KUTZTOWN, Pa. – More than 250 Kutztown University student-athletes came out to Andre Reed Stadium on Saturday to compete in various events for the common goal of raising money to fight childhood cancer.
 
Student-athletes teamed up with Angel34, a national organization united in the fight against childhood cancer and dedicated to finding a cure, as each team represented several children fighting cancer by competing in numerous team-building and relay-style events. Teams earned points for their finishes in each event as the KU baseball team finished first followed by field hockey in second and football's offensive players in third.

Saturday marked the inaugural Childhood Cancer Olympics at KU as both Angel34 and KU hope to continue this tradition for many years to come.
