Kutztown has won three of the last four matchups, as the three wins came by an average margin of 16.67 points. ESU snapped that trend last year with a 43-26 win at University Field. East Stroudsburg holds a 46-20-1 advantage in the head-to-head series.

MAGIC NUMBER: One of the trends with Kutztown's success this season has come with the running game. When KU runs for 100 or more yards, it is 3-0 this season. On the other side of the ball, Kutztown is 3-0 when it holds its opponent to less than 100 rushing yards.

EARLY LEAD: After leading at halftime in each of its first five games of the season, and eight consecutive games dating back to last season, Kutztown has trailed at the break in each of its last two games.

SAM I AM: Senior Sam Dougan (Secane, Pa./Ridley) is a two-time All-PSAC MLB and leads the team with 58 tackles (12th in PSAC) and 7.0 for a loss (16th in PSAC). He has 252 career tackles for ninth in school history, and he currently ranks eighth on the PSAC active career leaderboard and 29th in Division II. East Stroudsburg's Anthony Singlar ranks fifth in the PSAC and 21st in Division II among active players with 268 career tackles.

ENGLISH 101: Senior English Peay (Philadelphia, Pa./George Washington) eclipsed 200 career tackles on Oct. 9 against West Chester, the 18th player in school history to do so. The four-year starter has 206 tackles in 37 career games. Peay holds the school-record for pass break-ups (37), ranks second in passes defended (42), behind Pete Mendez's 47, and ranks second among active Division II players in passes defended. The PSAC record for passes defended is 59 by Shippensburg's Brent Grimes (2002-05). East Stroudsburg's David Castillo (2007-10) is third with 45.

CAPTAIN GREENWALD: Two-time All-PSAC East defensive end Zach Greenwald (Gibbstown, N.J./Paulsboro) is nearing 200 career tackles. He currently has 195 and looks to be the 19th player in school history with 200. He has 22 tackles this season and ranks second on the team with 5.0 tackles-for-loss.

COFFIN CORNER: Junior punter Andrew Deutsch (Kutztown, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) leads the PSAC with 17 punts inside the 20-yardline this season. He is third in the conference with six 50+ yard punts, including a career-best 56-yarder last week against Bloomsburg.

IN HONOR OF ANDRE: Kutztown University dedicated its stadium in honor of Golden Bear alumnus and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed '05 last Saturday, Oct. 18. In honor of its 78-year history, the field at the facility will retain the name University Field, and will be referred to officially as University Field at Andre Reed Stadium.

TURNOVER MARGIN: Kutztown is second in the PSAC and fourth in Division II with a +1.86 turnover margin/per game. Bloomsburg leads the PSAC at +2. KU has forced 19 turnovers (14th in Division II) and has lost six (third-lowest in Division II).

PROMISING RIGHT FOOT: Freshman kicker Alec Rosenfeld (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) is one of five kickers in Division II and the only one in the PSAC with a perfect field goal percentage (min. of 1 FGA per game). He is 8-for-8 this season, which ties him for fifth in the KU record book for field goals made in a season. He can move into a tie for third with one more field goal. He kicked a season-best 44-yarder against Cheyney, and in the past 17 years, only one Golden Bear has kicked a field goal 44 yards or longer (Matt Dineen vs. Cheyney in 2009). The school-record is 48 yards from 1994 and 1989.

GOOD HANDS: Kutztown is the best in the PSAC and is 13th in Division II with three lost fumbles. Last season, KU lost five total fumbles (all by quarterbacks) for third in the PSAC and 13th in Division II.

THE BARTON BUNCH: Chad Barton (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) has thrown 19 TDs, third in the PSAC and tied for 13th in Division II. He also ranks ninth in school history in single-season TD passes. He is one of three players in the PSAC (Matt Soltes - ESU; Sean McCartney - WCU) and 15 in the country with 19 or more TD passes. His ratio of 19 TDs to three interceptions ranks second in the PSAC, only behind West Chester QB Sean McCartney's ratio of 25/3. In his first career start, Barton set the school-record with 64 pass attempts vs. Slippery Rock. The previous record of 63 attempts was held by Kevin Morton from 2012 against Shippensburg.

SENSATIONAL SOPHOMORE: In his second year at KU, WR Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) has 69 catches for 855 yards and nine touchdowns. He hauled in a 78-yard catch-and-run touchdown at Gannon. It marked Kutztown's longest play from scrimmage since 2009. It highlighted a career-high 138-yard performance for Williams, who also had his second career multi-touchdown game.

QUITE THE START: R-Jr. WR Anthony Kelly (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) has caught a team-leading nine touchdown passes for second in the PSAC and eighth in Division II. Kelly is quickly moving his way up the KU career leaderboard with 15 touchdown catches for 11th all-time.

FEATURED FRESHMAN: Freshman WR Nathan Hollander (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) leads Kutztown with 45 catches this season, and is sixth in the PSAC and 29th in Division II with 6.4 receptions per game. He led the team in receptions in each of KU's first three games, the second consecutive year that a freshman led KU in catches in the team's first three games of the season.

100-CATCH CLUB: Kodi Reed (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) ranks 10th in school history with 117 career catches, and is one of 12 players in school history with 100 career catches. Brett Fox (Laureldale, Pa./Muhlenburg) has 98 catches as both players are chasing KU Hall of Famer Mark Steinmeyer's school-record 200 from 1988-91.

MULTIPLE PICKOFFS: Drake Brumfield (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) leads the team with three interceptions and is one of eight players in the PSAC with three or more this season. Brumfield and Tyler Pratt (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) (2) both have multiple INTs this year and are two of 23 players in the PSAC with multiple interceptions.

PASS ATTACK: Dating back to 2011, Kutztown has thrown 30 or more pass attempts in 25 of its last 28 games. It last threw less than 30 passes in a 54-7 win against Millersville in 2014.
