IN HONOR OF ANDRE: Kutztown University's stadium, currently known as University Field, will be named in honor of Golden Bear alumnus and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed '05 at a ceremony at the facility on Saturday. The Kutztown University Council of Trustees approved the name Andre Reed Stadium at its Sept. 18 meeting. In honor of its 78-year history, the field at the facility will retain the name University Field, and will be referred to officially as University Field at Andre Reed Stadium.

HALL OF FAME: Kutztown University graduate Andre Reed '05 was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 2, 2014. Reed was a four-year letterman at Kutztown from 1981-84, making 142 career catches for 2,002 yards and 14 touchdowns. Upon completion of his collegiate career, he held school records for catches, receiving yards and touchdowns in a game, season and career. Though all of his records have since been broken, Reed still ranks among the top five receivers in several statistical categories. He wore number 88 and is the first player in PSAC history to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

MAGIC NUMBER: One of the trends with Kutztown's success this season has come with the running game. When KU runs for 100 or more yards, it is 3-0 this season. On the other side of the ball, Kutztown is 3-0 when it holds its opponent to less than 100 rushing yards.

THREE-HEADED MONSTER: Three KU running backs rushed for more than 100 yards for the first time in school history in Kutztown's 54-7 win over Millersville on Oct. 4. Terry Williams (West Orange, N.J./Cosby (Phoenix College)) (126), James Wah Jr. (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) (104) and Darrell Scott (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) (102) all eclipsed the 100-yard mark and combined for 332 of Kutztown's 383 rushing yards and all five of its rushing touchdowns. It was the most rushing yards as a team for Kutztown since it ran for 384 at Saint Anselm in 2011.

ENGLISH 101: Senior English Peay (Philadelphia, Pa./George Washington) eclipsed 200 career tackles last week, the 18th player in school history to do so. The four-year starter has 204 tackles in 36 career games. Peay holds the school-record for pass break-ups (37), ranks second in passes defended (42), behind Pete Mendez's 47, and ranks second among active Division II players in passes defended. The PSAC record for passes defended is 59 by Shippensburg's Brent Grimes (2002-05). East Stroudsburg's David Castillo (2007-10) is third with 45.

CAPTAIN GREENWALD: Two-time All-PSAC East defensive end Zach Greenwald (Gibbstown, N.J./Paulsboro) is nearing 200 career tackles. He currently has 192 and looks to be the 19th player in school history with 200. He has 19 tackles this season and ranks second on the team with 4.0 tackles-for-loss.

BACK-TO-BACK BURSTS: Junior running back and first-year Golden Bear Terry Williams (West Orange, N.J./Cosby (Phoenix College)) ran for 100 or more yards in back-to-back games against Cheyney and Millersville, marking the first KU back to run for 100 yards in consecutive games since Robbie Frey in 2011. Williams also scored six touchdowns in those two games. He ran for a career-high 180 yards and four touchdowns against Cheyney and 126 against Millersville. His four touchdowns were the most by a KU back since Stephen Gammage ran for a school-record five touchdowns in 2002 against Cheyney.

RUSHING ATTACK: Kutztown's offense was committed to the run against Millersville, accounting for 383 of the team's 479 total yards. It did not throw 30 or more pass attempts for just the third time since 2011.

EARLY LEAD: Thursday night's game vs. West Chester marked the first game this season that KU did not lead at halftime.

COFFIN CORNER: Kutztown leads the PSAC with a net punting average of 37.81 yards.

TURNOVER MARGIN: Kutztown is second in the PSAC and seventh in Division II with a +2 turnover margin/per game. Bloomsburg leads the PSAC at +2.5 and has forced a Division II-leading 21 turnovers. KU has forced 18 turnovers (ninth in Division II) and has lost six (11th in Division II).

4TH-DOWN DEFENSE: Kutztown allowed two fourth-down conversions last week against West Chester, the first two allowed of the season for KU. KU opponents are now 2-for-7 on fourth-down conversions, the third-lowest percentage (28.6) and tied for the lowest number of conversions in the PSAC.

THE BARTON BUNCH: Chad Barton (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) has thrown 18 TDs, third in the PSAC and tied for eighth in Division II. He is one of three players in the PSAC (Matt Soltes - ESU; Sean McCartney - WCU) and 11 in the country with 18 or more TD passes. His ratio of 18 TDs to three interceptions ranks third in the PSAC. In his first career start, Barton set the school-record with 64 pass attempts vs. Slippery Rock. The previous record of 63 attempts was held by Kevin Morton from 2012 against Shippensburg.

PROTECT THE QUARTERBACK: The Kutztown offensive line did not allow a sack in two straight games against Cheyney and Millersville. It was the first time that KU did not allow a sack in consecutive games since 2010.

PROMISING RIGHT FOOT: Freshman kicker Alec Rosenfeld (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) is one of four kickers in Division II and the only one in the PSAC with a perfect field goal percentage (min. of 1 FGA per game). He is 6-for-6 this season, including a career-best 44-yarder against Cheyney. In the past 17 years, only one player has kicked a field goal 44 yards or longer (Matt Dineen vs. Cheyney in 2009). The school-record is 48 yards from 1994 and 1989.

SAM I AM: Senior Sam Dougan (Secane, Pa./Ridley) is a two-time All-PSAC MLB and leads the team with 47 tackles and 6.0 for a loss. He has 241 career tackles for 12th in school history, and he currently ranks ninth on the PSAC active career leaderboard and 31st in Division II. Bloomsburg's Justin Shirk ranks third in the PSAC and ninth in Division II among active players with 319 career tackles.

STRETCHING THE FIELD: Kutztown has had 25 offensive plays this season go for 20 or more yards, 19 of which have been through the air. WR Anthony Kelly (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) has a team-leading seven 'big plays', five of which went for touchdowns. On the ground, Darrell Scott (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) has three rushes this season for 20 or more yards.

SENSATIONAL SOPHOMORE: In his second year at KU, WR Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) has 63 catches for 771 yards and nine touchdowns. He hauled in a 78-yard catch-and-run touchdown at Gannon. It marked Kutztown's longest play from scrimmage since 2009. It highlighted a career-high 138-yard performance for Williams, who also had his second career multi-touchdown game.

QUITE THE START: R-Jr. WR Anthony Kelly (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) has caught a team-leading eight touchdown passes, but has gone two games without a touchdown catch and three games without two catches. Kelly is quickly moving his way up the KU career leaderboard with 14 touchdown catches for 12th all-time.

PASS ATTACK: Dating back to 2011, Kutztown has thrown 30 or more pass attempts in 24 of its last 27 games. It last threw less than 30 passes in a 54-7 win against Millersville in 2014.

GOOD HANDS: Kutztown is third in the PSAC and 19th in Division II with three lost fumbles. Edinboro and East Stroudsburg have lost a PSAC-low two  fumbles. Last season, KU lost five total fumbles (all by quarterbacks) for third in the PSAC and 13th in Division II.

TICK TOCK: Kutztown is fifth in the PSAC and 41st in Division II with an average time of possession of 31:18 per game.

FEATURED FRESHMAN: WR Nathan Hollander (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) leads Kutztown with 38 catches this season. He led the team in receptions in each of KU's first three games, the second consecutive year that a freshman led KU in catches in the team's first three games of the season. Hollander is sixth in the PSAC and 32nd in Division II with 6.3 receptions per game.

100-CATCH CLUB: Kodi Reed (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) ranks 10th in school history with 114 career catches. He is one of 12 players in school history with 100 career catches. Brett Fox (Laureldale, Pa./Muhlenburg) has 97 catches as both players are chasing KU Hall of Famer Mark Steinmeyer's school-record 200 from 1988-91.

MULTIPLE PICKOFFS: Drake Brumfield (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) leads the team with three interceptions and is one of five players in the PSAC with three or more this season. Brumfield and Tyler Pratt (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) (2) both have multiple INTs this year and are two of 16 players in the PSAC with two or more interceptions.
