MANSFIELD, Pa. – The trio of Ashley Wood (Limerick, PA/Spring-Ford), Alyssa Bonenberger (Walnutport, PA/Northampton Area) and Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional) combined for 59 points as Kutztown University wrapped up the regular season with a 76-56 victory over Mansfield in PSAC East action.
 
Wood led all players with 21 points in her final regular season game. Bonenberger was on fire, hitting 8-of-11 field goals to finish with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  The 20 points were a career-high and the junior notched her seventh double-double of the year. Lee sank 7-of-14 field goals on her way to 18 points.  She also grabbed seven boards.
 
Lee, Wood and Bonenberger combined to hit 14-of-22 field goals (64 percent) in the first half as the Golden Bears built a 44-30 lead at the break.
 
Kutztown led by 10 in the second half when Arianna Apostolopoulos (Yonkers, NY/Ursuline) started a 12-0 run with a layup with 3:27 to play.  Six different Golden Bears scored in the run and a bucket by Aly York (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) with 22 seconds left put KU on top 76-54 with 22 seconds to play.
 
Advia Campbell (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds and had five steals.  Behind a 45-31 advantage on the glass, KU held a 16-2 advantage in second chance points.  KU also scored 22 points off 19 MU turnovers.
 
Jena Matter came off the bench to hit 6-of-9 field goals and led Mansfield with 14 points. Shaleta Heyward and Julia Stevenson scored 10 apiece.
 
The win was KU's 15th of the year, matching the total of the 2010-11 team and the fourth time in the last five years Kutztown has won as many games.  This year's squad set a school record with 13 PSAC wins.
 
Wood moved into sixth place all-time at Kutztown with 1,268 points.  She is also fifth in made three-point attempts at 124.
 
The Golden Bears will look to extend their season when West Chester visits Keystone Arena on Saturday, March 2 for a PSAC First Round game at 1 p.m.
