KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Holding off Mansfield on the road this week to keep its winning-streak alive, the Kutztown University women's basketball team prepares to host West Chester University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup this Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at Keystone Arena.

Kutztown (4-2, 2-0 PSAC East) will have its current four-game winning streak challenged as the West Chester (5-2, 3-0) Golden Rams look to extend a four-game winning streak of its own.

Although WCU currently sits atop the divisional rankings, Kutztown topped both of the schools that gave West Chester its two losses on the season (University of the Sciences, Philadelphia University).

Dallas Ely is averaging an astounding 18.0 points per game for the Golden Rams so far this season, the fifth-highest mark in the PSAC. The three-point specialist has already knocked down 18 triples on the season and is third on the team with 3.0 assists per game.

Junior forward Kendall Benovy is the immediate force inside the paint, averaging 7.3 boards per contest and leading the team with 11 blocks, third-best in the PSAC. Sophomore guard Brittany Sicinski is averaging 3.6 assists in the backcourt, while recording 14.7 points per game.

Kutztown's Jess Harvey (Barnegat, N.J./Rumson Fair-Haven Regional) is coming off a season-high 19-point performance for the Maroon and Gold, averaging 3.2 assists per game running the point.

Alyssa Bonenberger (Walnutport, PA/Northampton Area) remains an all-around threat on the court, leading the team with 12.3 points and nine boards per contest.

KU recorded a school-record 22 steals last game against Mansfield, with half of them attributed to Advia Campbell (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) and Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional). The duo each has 19 steals so far on the season, tied for fourth-best in the PSAC.

The Golden Bears will follow up with a two-game road trip, stopping at Clarion on Tuesday, Dec. 17, and Pitt-Johnstown the following day.
