KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's basketball team looks to get back in the swing of things, squaring off against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division opponent Mansfield University on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at Decker Gymnasium.

Kutztown (3-2, 1-0 PSAC East) enjoys a three-game win streak, not including last week's exhibition against Division I Liberty, all in thrilling comeback fashion. In the last two regular season games, Kutztown has taken the final lead of the game with a combined 13 seconds remaining in regulation. It took the lead with five seconds left against Sciences with a pair of free throws from Kelsey Watson (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton), and with seven seconds left against ESU with an and-one layup from Jess Harvey (Barnegat, N.J./Rumson Fair-Haven Regional).

Kutztown's nine-point deficit comeback victory over East Stroudsburg is the largest since they did the same in last year's home playoff win against West Chester.

Next up is a Mansfield (0-5, 0-2) squad still looking for its first victory of the season. Mansfield fell to Lake Eric College 69-60 in its last matchup, while dropping two PSAC East games before that.

Sophomore guard/forward Katie Fitzpatrick has the hot hand for the Mountaineers right now, leading the team with 16.4 points, 9.8 boards, and 4.8 assists per game. Fitzpatrick's rebounding mark is currently fifth-best in the PSAC, while her 4.8 assist average is third-best.

Junior guard Megan McSwain has added 13.6 points per clip, while tying Fitzpatrick for the team-lead with eight steals. Alyssa DeRichie has been locked in from the free-throw line, converting 19-22 (.864).

The lineup of Harvey, Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional), Alyssa Bonenberger (Walnutport, PA/Northampton Area), Advia Campbell (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape), and Watson has proven to be the most effective for the Golden Bears, holding the team's best +/- rating at +17 this season.

Kutztown is second in the conference with a .385 three-point percentage, even though they have attempted a PSAC-low 39 three pointers.

Bonenberger leads the team with 12.4 points and nine boards per game. Lee is trailing right behind with 11.4 points per game, while leading the team with 15 steals, third highest in the PSAC. Campbell ranks third with nine points per contest, and holds the team lead in blocks (four).

Kutztown will continue its PSAC East play when it takes on West Chester University at home on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
