KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's basketball team looks to extend its winning streak this Saturday at Keystone Arena, as the Golden Bears take on East Stroudsburg University in its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game of the season.

Fresh off a thrilling victory in the final minute over the University of Sciences on Wednesday, KU (2-2) is riding a two-game winning streak with the East Stroudsburg Warriors (1-1) up next.

ESU has already gotten a jump on the conference schedule, defeating Mansfield in the team's last contest, 63-56.

Forward Jessica Martin will be the one to watch for on the Warriors. The junior is averaging 16.0 points per game and has already amassed an astounding 10 blocks in two games. Junior guard Ryann Fiascki has dished out five assists and knocked down seven points per game.

Down by two to the USP Devils with less than 30 seconds left to play, Advia Campbell (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) grabbed an offensive rebound and scored her biggest bucket of the night to tie the game. Freshman Kelsey Watson (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) then forced a turnover, resulting in a foul to send her to the free throw line with five seconds left. Emanating the confidence of a veteran, the first-year forward sunk both shots with ease to secure the win for KU.

Campbell led the way for the Golden Bears in just about every way possible, knocking down 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting. The junior forward also led the team with nine rebounds, four assists, and five steals.

Guard Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional) has yet to find her rhythm shooting from the floor, but still managed to knock down eight points and grab four steals. Alyssa Bonenberger (Walnutport, PA/Northampton Area) was also contained from the field, but was perfect from the free throw line and contributed eight rebounds. Over the course of the first four games, the two veteran guards are proving to be essential as they both are averaging points in the double-digits (12.3, 12.0).

Campbell is the only starter to shoot above .500 and is second on the team with 10 steals.

In addition to sinking clutch free throws, Watson is averaging an impressive 9.5 boards per game and her three blocks is tied for best on the team.

Kutztown will wrap up its three-game home stretch with an exhibition game against Liberty on Monday, Nov. 25 and will then head to Mansfield on Dec. 4 for a PSAC matchup.
