 -- Curtis Wortham (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) ran for a season-high 154 yards last week against Cheyney.
-- Wortham needs 205 yards to be the 11th 2,000-yard rusher in school history.
-- KU has held the advantage in time of possession in five of its six games.
-- Sam Dixon-Dougan is third in the PSAC with 60 tackles.
-- Kutztown is looking for its first win at Shippensburg since 1995.
-- Shippensburg has won 11 straight games at Seth Grove, dating back to 2011.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Saturday marks the 66th meeting between the Golden Bears and the Red Raiders. Kutztown is coming off its first win of the season, but has dropped the previous two matchups against Shippensburg. It allowed a school-record 73 points in last year's 73-35 defeat. Kutztown's 49-7 loss in 2011 was its only loss of the regular season.
 
BREAKING BIG PLAYS: Kutztown tallied 10 rushes for 10 or more yards last week against Cheyney, after running for five combined in the five games prior.
 
COMMIT TO THE RUN: After throwing 28 passes in the first half against Cheyney, Kutztown threw the ball just 10 times in the second half and countered with 25 rushing attempts. It ran the ball a season-high 44 times against the Wolves, marking the first time it ran 44 times since the 2012 season-opener agaisnt Saint Anselm.
 
TRIPLE-DIGIT YARDAGE: Senior running back Curtis Wortham (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) ran for a season-high 154 yards against Cheyney, his sixth career 100-yard performance. It was the first 100- yard performance of the season for Kutztown.
 
2,000-YARD CLUB: Curtis Wortham (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) has rushed for 1,795 yards in his four-year career. He needs 205 yards to be the 11th player in school history to rush for 2,000 yards. He rushed for a career-high 932 yards in 2012, 186 coming against Millersville.
 
SIDELINE-TO-SIDELINE: Sam Dixon-Dougan has led Kutz­town in tackles in four of the six games this season. He is third in the PSAC with 60 total tackles and is one of five play­ers in the PSAC averaging 10 or more tackles per game.
 
ENGLISH 101: Junior cornerback English Peay (Philadelphia, Pa./George Washington) is seventh in the PSAC with 52 tackles, 14 shy of his career-high set in 2011. He leads the PSAC with nine batted-down passes, av­eraging 1.5 per game.
