KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University wrestling team will honor its five seniors prior to the team's final home match of the season, against Shippensburg on Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Kutztown, 9-4 on the year, will be looking to extend it school record streak of double-digit win seasons to six in a row. The Raiders, meanwhile, are 12-11 on the year.
Anthony Frost (West Reading, PA/Wyomissing) (West Reading, Pa./Wyomissing),
Zach Marlatt (Slatington, PA/Northern Lehigh) (Slatington, Pa./Northern Lehigh),
Desmond Moore (Easton, PA/Easton) (Easton, Pa./Easton),
Victor Montanez (Prospect Park, NJ/Passaic County Tech) (Prospect Park, N.J./Passaic County Tech) and
Eric Sergent (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area HS) (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) will be honored prior to the last career dual.
Frost is a three-year member of the Golden Bears and is a captain on this year's squad. He has 18 victories in his career. He has six wins this season and has two major decisions and one fall in his career. He has shown tremendous loyalty to the program and always put the team's success first. The son of Carol Frost, he majors in Criminal Justice.
Marlatt is a two-year member of the Golden Bears and has 12 career victories. He has nine wins this season, including four falls with his fastest pin coming in just 30 seconds. Marlatt finished in fourth place at last year's NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament and second at this year's Central Jersey Open. He is the son of Rob and Chris Marlatt and a Criminal Justice major.
Montanez is a four-year member of the Golden Bears. He has wrestled in 20 matches at 197 and 285 pounds during his KU career. He has shown a tremendous amount of dedication and loyalty to the Golden Bear program over the past four years and has become a valued member to the team. He is the son of Victor and Hilda Montanez and is a Sports Management major.
Moore is a two-year member of the Golden Bears and a captain on this year's squad. He is 14-9 in 2011-12 and currently rates sixth in Super Region I. His eight dual victories are tied for second on the team and he has three major decisions to his credit. In addition to winning five of his last six matches, he finished in fourth place at the PSAC Championships and the Central Jersey Open. Moore has 25 career victories on the mat and has four major decisions and two falls. Moore is the son of Davida Moore and majors in Sports Management.
Sergent is a four-year year member of the Golden Bear wrestling program. He has 12 victories in his career and four falls with his fastest coming in 44 seconds. He will return to the team next year as a student assistant coach. Sergent is the son of Brent and Nancy Sergent and is majoring in Geology.

Evan Yenolevich (New Tripoli, PA/Northwestern Lehigh (Edinboro)) (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) and
Brandan Clark (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) in the Super Region I rankings.
Yenolevich has a team-high 19 victories on the season, against just five losses. The third ranked wrestler in the region at 133, he is in the midst of a six bout win streak and has five falls, five major decisions and three technical falls to his credit in 2011-12.
Clark has been out for the past several matches, but has turned in a solid freshman campaign at 285. Among his 10 victories are two falls and one major decision. He is sixth in Super Region I.
Vinny Campanile (Stanhope, NJ/Lenape Valley) (Stanhope, N.J./Lenape Valley) has 16 victories, second on the team, wrestling primarily at 197. His 12 wins by fall lead the team and put him in a tie for fifth in Division II. Campanile has won three straight and four out of five.
Bionojel Candelaria (Reading, Pa./Middletown) and
Giovanni Ortiz (Reading, PA/Reading) (Reading, Pa./Reading) are tied with Moore for third on the team with 14 wins, one more than
Micah Bollinger (Mifflinburg, PA/Mifflinburg Area) (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg).
Candelaria has split time between 157 and 165, but has wrestled mostly at 157 of late. He has four major decisions and three technical falls to his credit.
Ortiz has won seven of his last eight bouts with three major decisions and two pins in that span. On the year, he has four major decisions and two wins by fall.
Bollinger had his six bout win streak snapped against Millersville, but still ranks second on the team with seven wins by fall.
Shippensburg will bring the No. 7 team in Super Region I to Keystone Arena to face the fifth ranked Golden Bears.
Luke Etter is ranked No. 2 at 174 as a redshirt freshman. He is 11-7 on the year including three major decisions.
Two other Raiders are ranked fourth in the region. Cody Myers leads the team with a 17-4 record and seven wins by fall at 133. Dan Estricher is 14-6 at 285, third on the team in wins.
Kenny Stank is the sixth ranked wrestler at 149, but has also seen time at 157 for Shippensburg. On the year, he is 12-10 with four falls.
The match is the final dual of the year for both teams before the Super Region I Championships on Feb. 24-26 at N.C.-Pembroke.
