KU Defeats Washington Adventist 74-44

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Maintaining a lead of 30 points or more over Washington Adventist  throughout Tuesday evening's game, the Golden Bears defeated the Shock  74-44 at Keystone Arena.
 
Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional) led the Golden Bears with 16 points and nine assists. The freshman shot 6-of-8 from the floor in 25 minutes of action. The other two Golden Bears to reach double digits were Avery Hodgson (Surf City, NJ/Southern Regional) and Advia Campbell (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape), both scoring 10 points.
 
Sophomore Nicole Donahue (Wall, N.J./St. Rose) added six points, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Alyssa Bonenberger (Walnutport, PA/Northampton Area) led KU in rebounds, recording 11 for nine points.
 
The Golden Bears went to halftime with a 36 point lead over the Shock, starting the second half with the advantage of 44-8.
 
Washington Adventist finally reached double digits, opening the second half with a three pointer by Vanessa Rice. The Golden Bears continued to hold the lead by 30 points or more, ending the game with a final score of 74-44.
 
The Golden Bears return to action on Tuesday, November 27, when they travel to Lincoln University for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.
