GREENSBURG, Pa. - Kutztown started the match with three straight victories, but No. 13 West Liberty State picked up wins as weights went up, claiming a 27-14 win over the Golden Bears.

Desmond Moore (Easton, PA/Easton) (Easton, Pa./Easton) saw his first action of the weekend and scored a 10-5 decision over Joe Wagstaff at 125.  After Evan Yenolevich (New Tripoli, PA/Northwestern Lehigh (Edinboro)) (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) won by forfeit at 133, Mitch Voelker (Shoemakersville, PA/Schuylkill Valley) (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) pinned Dillon Nolte at 141.  

The Hilltoppers, however, won the rest of the bouts, although three were decided by two points or less.  Micah Bollinger (Mifflinburg, PA/Mifflinburg Area) (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) fell just 6-5 at 165, while Vinny Campanile (Stanhope, NJ/Lenape Valley) (Stanhope, N.J./Lenape Valley) lost 5-3 at 197.  Brandon Clark (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) kept it close against the No. 2 wrestler at 285 in the region, JD Ramsay, but fell 2-0.

The loss dropped KU to 3-2 on the season.

The Golden Bears travel to Division I Hofstra on January 15 in their final tune up before the Regional Duals at Pitt-Johnston on January 21-22.
