KUTZTOWN, PA (January 15, 2011) – The Kutztown University wrestling team concluded its pair of dual matches Saturday afternoon with a 30-12 victory over Seton Hill University at Keystone Field House. (COMPLETE RESULTS)

Anthony Frost (West Reading, PA/Wyomissing) (157 pounds) and Ricky Pena (Reading, PA/Reading) (165) set the tone for Kutztown early as they each earned major decisions. Having these two continue to wrestle hard and turn in positive results will play a significant part in Kutztown's success the rest of the season.

“This was a real solid win for us,” said head wrestling coach Rob Fisher. “Frost battled the kid both mentally and physically and just kept the pressure on and wore the guy out. We love to see that.”

Tim Darling (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) (174) and Justin Grant (Easton, PA/Easton) (285) each won by fall against the Griffins. Darling's pin came in 2 minutes, 12 seconds, and Grant's pin was in 2:56. They each lead the team with 11 dual wins this season.

Austin Williams (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl) also won by major decision, defeating Josh Testa 15-3.

Kutztown now moves to 5-8 overall and looks ahead to the Regional Duals hosted by the University of North Carolina-Pembroke on Jan 22. It will go up against Newberry College and Limestone College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
