KU offense rolls lucky 7 in win over Seton Hill

GREENSBURG, PA (September 26, 2010) –The Kutztown University field hockey team defeated Seton Hill, 7-3 behind impressive performances from midfielders Jenna Gregory and Erin Reynolds Sunday afternoon. (BOXSCORE)
 
Kutztown (4-1 overall), is proving why it is the seventh ranked team in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Top 10 poll. The Golden Bears have now won three consecutive games as their offense continues to improve. Kutztown previously defeated Millersville 2-1, and Slippery Rock 3-0 this week.

The seven goals scored were a season-high for the Golden Bears.
 
The Golden Bears didn't waste any time in scoring as they scored four times in the first 20 minutes. Kutztown had five different scorers Sunday with both Gregory and Reynolds scoring twice. Gregory leads the team with four goals and five assists on the season. Also scoring for Kutztown were Abbey Sheeler, Jamie Koenig, and Imani Ferguson
 
Goalkeeper Emily Falko had seven saves in the first half, with sophomore Karly Waltman recording one in the second half.
 
Kutztown continues its four game road trip against East Stroudsburg on Wednesday, September 29th at 4:00 p.m.
