INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 6, 2010) - The NCAA office announced today that the NCAA DII softball selections for this year's championships will be released at 10:00am Eastern Time, Monday, May 10th, via a webcast selection show on NCAA.com. Kutztown, which is ranked third in the latest Atlantic Region poll, is expected to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. The Atlantic Region Tournament will be held May 13-15th. The sites will also be determined on Monday. 

Three schools have earned automatic bids to the NCAA tournament by winning their postseason conference tournaments. Bloomsburg University won the PSAC Conference Championship, Chowan University won the CIAA Conference Championship and West Virginia Wesleyan claimed the WVIAC Conference Championship. The remaining teams and sites of the tournament will be released on the selection show.
