LOCK HAVEN, PA (April 10, 2010) – The Kutztown University women's lacrosse team dropped a 25-5 decision to Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover matchup. (BOXSCORE)
Jen Dunne found the back of the net 10 seconds into the game. Dunne, who leads the Golden Bears with 19 goals and 21 points this season, scored her second goal of the game off of an assist by Rachel Mehaffey. Dunne has scored two or more goals in the same game six times this season.
Also finding the back of the net for Kutztown (2-10, 0-6) was Lindsey Crits and Emily Savini. Crits scored twice for Kutztown, her second goal coming off of a free position shot. Crits also handed an assist to Savini earlier in the second half.
Crits has scored 15 goals for the Golden Bears this season and is second on the team with 20 points. Also for Crits, it was her fourth multi-goal game of the season.
Goalie Karly Waltman had nine saves for the Golden Bears. Savini led Kutztown with three shots. Randy Vite and Megan Schwar led the Golden Bears with three ground balls each. Vite also led Kutztown with six draw controls.
The Golden Bears return to action on Monday, April 12 in a PSAC Eastern Division matchup against East Stroudsburg. The game is slated to begin at 4 p.m. on Keystone Field.
