WEST CHESTER, PA (March 17, 2010) – Lindsey Crits (Gilbertsville, PA/Boyertown) and Janice Kinney (Spring City, PA/Owen J. Roberts) scored two goals each for the Kutztown University women's lacrosse team in its 25-6 loss to host West Chester in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opener Wednesday afternoon. Also scoring for the Golden Bears (0-4 overall, 0-1 PSAC East) were Gina Carmina (Flanders, NJ/Mt. Olive) and Bridget Bollendorf (Blackwood, NJ/Washington Township). For Bollendorf, it was her first goal of the 2010 season. Carmina also contributed an assist. Kutztown keeper Karly Waltman (Birdsboro, PA/Twin Valley) made eight saves. Emily Savini (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) paced the Golden Bears with three groundballs.

Crits raised her season goal total to four with her second multi-goal effort of the season. In addition to scoring two goals, Kinney led Kutztown with five draw controls.

The Golden Bears return to action Saturday afternoon when they host Eskrine College beginning at 1 p.m.
