The Golden Bears had no trouble in their first away game outside of the state of Pennsylvania this season easing past the Lady Bulldogs, 25-16, 25-10, 25-15. Kutztown (13-10 overall) has won five of its last six matches.

Cali Snell (York, PA/York Suburban) paced the Golden Bears with eight kills. Overall, Kutztown finished with 34 kills. Erin Kissling (York, PA/Central York) and Katie Miller (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown) combined for 11 kills. The Golden Bear freshman tandem of Dana Wright (Warminster, PA/Saint Basil Academy) and Kimberlee Gomber (Washington, PA/Washington) registered 18 and 10 assists, respectively. Lindsey Smith (Hanover, PA/Delone Catholic) had three aces and nine digs.

Kutztown returns to action Friday evening when it hosts Cheyney University in a doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m.
