READING, Pa. — Melissa McQuade (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler) (so. Pittsburgh/Shaler) recorded her fourth double-double of the season and Rachel Wisemiller (Hazleton, PA/Hazleton Area) (jr. Hazleton/Hazleton) led the Kutztown University women's basketball team with 16 points in a 74-38 win over Penn State-Berks Saturday at the Beaver Community Center.

McQuade scored 15 points and had 13 rebounds for the Golden Bears (6-0), who took a 51-15 halftime lead in the non-conference contest.

Brittany LeVan (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) (fr. Centre Hall/Penns Valley) also had 16 points and Hannah Mertz (fr. Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) had 10.

Meredith Starr (Richmond, VA/Monacan) (so. Richmond, Va./Monacan) recorded career highs in assists with nine and steals with six.

KU will return home on Dec. 17 for a 7 p.m. tipoff against Columbia Union.
