Johnson scored a career-high 24 points and tied his career-best with 18 rebounds in Kutztown’s 76-64 victory over Goldey-Beacom last Tuesday. Johnson scored 16 of his points in the first half to help KU establish a 40-26 lead at intermission. This was Johnson’s ninth career double-double in a KU uniform and his first this season. Johnson was also career best 8-for-9 at the foul line as the Golden Bears won their second straight contest. Defensively, he limited GBC’s leading scorer Terrance Parkes to 13 points. He was averaging 22 entering the game.
