Connolly averaged a team-high 16 points per game last week. He helped KU to an upset win over West Chester on Saturday, largely due to his free throw and three-point shooting. For the week, he made all 13 of his free throws and shot 45.5 percent from beyond the arc. In the win against West Chester, Connolly shot 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line, six of which came in the final 15 seconds. His 19 points are the most since he scored 20 in the season-opener on Nov. 15. He also grabbed six rebounds. Against Mansfield, he scored 13 points and made all five of his free throws.
