Wood averaged 15.5 points to lead Kutztown to a pair of wins last week over Goldey-Beacom (82-69) and Georgian Court (81-56). She had a career best 24 point effort on 8 for 13 shooting from the field in KU’s win over Goldey-Beacom College. She was also 4-of-5 from 3-point distance and 4-for-4 from the foul line. Wood handed out three assists and grabbed two rebounds in 37 minutes. She had 12 points in each half against GBC. Wood crammed nine of her points along with an assist during an 18-9 surge that gave the Golden Bears a 29-20 advantage with 6:22 remaining in the first half. Her layup gave KU the lead for good, 13-11 with 13:56 remaining. Against Georgian Court, Wood scored nine points on 4-of-7 shooting in 16 minutes as KU opened a 28-point lead 11 minutes into the game and cruised to victory. Wood had two steals and also made a 3-pointer. She has made at least one 3-pointer in every game this season.
