Johnson has scored in double figures in each of Kutztown's nine games this season, the most for a KU freshman to start his career since 1985. He had a phenomenal night against Clarion with his first career double-double. He had 14 points and a career-high 13 rebounds on an effective 7-of-9 shooting. Johnson scored 15 points against Pitt-Johnstown, and led KU against seventh-ranked Indiana (PA) with 10 points and eight rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting.
