Kevin Morton is this week's KU Student Bookstore Athlete of the Week.  He was also named the PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week after he set the school record for passing yards for the second straight week as KU picked up a 59-33 win over East Stroudsburg.
 
Morton threw for 490 yards and three scores. He was nearly flawless going 35-of-42 (86 percent) without any interceptions.   Three of his receivers – Colby Tuell (Columbia, PA/Columbia), Brett Fox (Muhlenburg, PA/Muhlenburg) and Zach Snyder (Lititz, PA/Warwick) – all topped 100 yards in the contest, the first time since 1997 a trio of KU receivers had done so in the same game.
 
Morton ended the game with 111 touchdown passes, 10,675 passing yards and 11,354 yards of total offense.  He passed Bob McLaughlin for third all-time in the PSAC in passing yardage. His total offense is now third all-time in the PSAC. Morton's 111 TD passes are tied for ninth in Division II history, while his 10,675 passing yards is tied for 16th and his 11,354 total yards are 14th.
