Junior Ashley Wood (Limerick, PA/ Spring Ford) led the Golden Bears with 13 points against Millersville to defeat the Marauders 63-57.Wood also led with a team-high five assists. Earlier in the week, KU defeated  Cheyney, 76-66. Wood got hot early and recorded 12 of her 23 points in the first half. She was 8-for-17 from the field and finished with a team-high six assists, tying her career-high. She also grabbed a career-high seven rebounds. Last week's wins marked the first time that the Golden Bears (6-12 overall, 4-8 PSAC) have won consecutive games this season
