Nezar Haddad is in his fourth season on the Kutztown University wrestling coaching staff in 2024-25. He is currently an assistant coach after previously serving as a graduate assistant.
Haddad won 49 matches in three seasons as a member of the Hofstra University wrestling team and collected 15 additional victories as a redshirt freshman at Drexel in 2015-16.
As a redshirt junior with the Pride in 2017-18, Haddad ranked second on the team with 19 wins (19-14) and led the team with 16 victories by decision. He was also third with 48 team points earned in duals.
The younger brother of two-time national champion and 2021 Kutztown University Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Ziad Haddad, Nezar wrestled and played football at nearby Parkland High School, before embarking on his collegiate wrestling career. He was a state runner-up and NHSCA All-American during his time with the Trojans.
Haddad graduated from Hofstra in 2019 with a degree in business administration (management) and received his Master of Science in school counseling from Kutztown in May, 2024.
