Madeline De Faber-Schumacher is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Kutztown University men's and women's tennis programs in 2026-27.
De Faber-Schumacher was a four-year starter and two-time All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) selection at Division I Siena University.
As a freshman in 2022-23, De Faber-Schumacher led the Saints with 19 singles wins (19-4) to earn All-MAAC First Team honors at No. 6 singles. She posted an 18-6 singles record as a senior captain in 2025-26 to capture All-MAAC Third Team accolades. De Faber-Schumacher recorded 56 singles victories and 17 doubles victories during her collegiate career.
Off the court, De Faber-Schumacher earned MAAC academic recognition all four years. She was named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll in 2022-23 and was a three-time All-MAAC Academic Team selection in 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26.
A native of Phoenixville, Pa., De Faber-Schumacher won a pair of District 2 Class 2A doubles championships and was a two-time PIAA bronze medalist while playing for Riverside High School outside of Scranton.
De Faber-Schumacher is a 2026 graduate of Siena with a bachelor's degree in finance.She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration in applied investment analysis and corporate financial management at Saint Joseph's University.
