Holly Gruber joined the Kutztown Sports Medicine Staff in the Fall of 2022. Prior to joining the Golden Bears, Gruber spent the previous two years with Shepherd University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Professor in the College of Education and Professional Studies.
Prior to Shepherd, Gruber spent time as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Kutztown while earning her master’s degree in Athletic Training with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice from East Stroudsburg University in 2019. After earning her masters, she returned to Kutztown as a Temporary Faculty Athletic Trainer in 2020.
Gruber earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Frostburg State University in 2018. She was founder of and served as President of the Athletic Training Club.
Gruber is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association, and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Association
Gruber and her husband reside in Kutztown.
