Chris Armstrong enters his second season as an offensive graduate assistant (tight ends) with the Kutztown University football team in 2026.

Armstrong helped Kutztown to its most successful season in school history in 2025 as the Golden Bears won PSAC, PSAC East and Super Region 1 championships on their way to a school record 14 victories (14-1) and a NCAA Division II national semifinals appearance.

Kutztown led the PSAC and ranked fifth in DII in scoring offense at 42.9 points per game. The tight end group was effective with its blocking assignments, bolstering a Golden Bear offense that led the PSAC in rushing (218.9 ypg) and allowed the fewest sacks per game in the league and fifth fewest in the national at 0.67. KU also ranked second in the PSAC in total offense with 432.8 ypg.

The Golden Bear tight ends accounted for five receiving touchdowns and the dynamic Luke Maxwell added 11 rushing scores to two receiving TDs on his way to All-PSAC East Second Team honors.

Armstrong was a five-year member of the football team at NCAA Division III Montclair State University. He received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from the school in 2024.

Armstrong is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration at KU.
