Amy Filanowski completed her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Kutztown University track & field teams in 2021-22.

Filanowski, a 2010 Bucknell graduate, joined the Golden Bears after three years as an assistant at her alma mater from 2015-18. She coached the high jumpers and multi athletes. Accomplishments of student-athletes under her tutelage included three school records (men's indoor high jump, men's outdoor high jump and women's outdoor high jump), along with multiple top 10 performances, Patriot League champions and ECAC/IC4A and NCAA qualifiers. Additionally, she held the roles of academic coordinator and mentor for the Leadership Academy with the Bison.

Prior to Bucknell, Filanowski spent two years as a graduate assistant coach at Misericordia University, where she earned a master's degree in organizational leadership. While there, she spent her time coaching the jumpers and multi athletes while also serving as the team's recruiting coordinator and the offseason strength and conditioning coach for the throwers. In her first season with the program, Filanowski guided Ashlee Ward to indoor and outdoor national titles in the high jump. The Cougar women also won back-to-back Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor and Outdoor titles during her two-year stint.

Filanowski got her coaching start at Allegheny College, training jumpers, hurdlers and multi athletes for two seasons, while also serving as recruiting coordinator and strength coach for the men's and women's cross country teams. During her time in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the Gators won one North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) title in men's cross country and claimed three All-NCAC champions in the high jump and triple jump.

As a four-year student-athlete at Bucknell, the former Amy Mantush graduated as a dual major in education and animal behavior. She was a two-year captain for the Bison and earned back-to-back Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Year honors. She was a 12-time All-Patriot League honoree while competing in the high jump, triple jump, long jump and pentathlon. She continues to hold program records in both the indoor (5-8) and outdoor (5-7) high jump.
