Kutztown University's 2020-21 women's swimming season canceled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced the cancellation of all mandated regular season and championship competition for winter sports that were to take place over the 2020-21 season. The decision comes following a majority vote of the Board of Directors –the 18 presidents who preside over each of its member institutions.

Last week, the Board canceled PSAC Championship seasons in fall sports, yet allowed for league championship opportunities in those sports should six or more schools elect to participate. All schools electing to play must abide by existing league rules and the NCAA Guidelines that have been set due to the existing COVID-19 pandemic. The same requirements exist for the winter sports that have been canceled. 

Winter sports subject to cancellation include: men’s and women’s basketball, men's and women's indoor track & field, men's and women's swimming and men's wrestling. UPDATE (November 19): The PSAC announced it will permit league championship opportunities in men's and women's swimming, the only winter sports in which six or more member institutions committed to a championship season. Kutztown does not intend to compete in the 2021 PSAC Championships.
