Kutztown University Athletics

2011-12: Kearns recorded a season-best time in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.71). She also enjoyed great swims in the 100-yard free (56.12) and 500-yard free (5:28.86). She appears twice on the KU all-time top ten performance list. Kutztown finished ninth at the 2012 PSAC Championships. KU was named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division II Scholar All-American team for the eight consecutive season.

Dean’s List

2010-11: Kearns turned in career-best performances at the 2011 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships in the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.00), 200-yard freestyle (2:00.12), and 100-yard freestyle (55.18). Her time in the 500-yard freestyle ranks her 10th on the KU all-time list.

At the Franklin & Marshall Invitational, Kearns finished seventh in the 200-yard freestyle, eighth in the 100-yard freestyle, and 12th in the 500-yard freestyle. She finished second in the 200-yard freestyle against Lock Haven in January and was fifth in the 100-yard freestyle at the Golden Bear Invitational.

2009-10: Qualified for the PSAC championships and turned in her best efforts of the season at the meet in the 100-freestyle (56.02) and 200-freestyle (1:59.23).

2008-09:
Kern's best time for the 200-yard freestyle came at Franklin and Marshall Invite, when she finished in 2:01.43.
