As a sophomore: Her season-bests came at the 2011 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships when she completed the 200-yard IM in 2:16.69, the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:08.81, and the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:29.79.

At the Franklin & Marshall Invitational Piorkowski finished fourth in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststrokes and eighth in the 200-yard IM.


2009-10: She qualified for the PSAC Championships and swam her best time in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.15). She finished 13th in that event at the PSAC Championships. Piorkowski also finished 12th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:09.68). Piorkowski turned in her best time in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:29.68) and 200-yard individual medley (2:15.52). Piorkowski is fourth on the all-time KU list in the 100-breaststroke (1:08.48), third in the 200-breaststroke (2:29.68) and fourth in the 200-individual medley (2:15.52).

All-conference swimmer in high school. Piorkowski was also an all-conference and all-state athlete in softball.
