Brittney Ruggieri completed her eighth season as an assistant coach with the Kutztown University women's soccer team in 2015.
An integral part of the coaching staff, Ruggieri works primarily with the forwards and attacking players. She has also played a significant role in the progress of the teams' strength and conditioning program, as well as assisting in nutrition.
She began with Kutztown as a graduate assistant in 2008. She then returned to the staff and has worked as an assistant coach ever since. She also works in the community for a counseling agency that places her with families who have autistic children, in conjunction with coaching.
Ruggieri has locally coached for the Lehigh Valley United and Vincent United, as well as at Parkland and Emmaus High Schools. She has coached youth players at Push the Rock and Buxmont Torch soccer camps over the past 10 years.
She was a four-year player at Division I Liberty University and spent two years playing after college for the Buxmont Torch in the Women's Premier Soccer League.
Ruggieri graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in religion, and also from Kutztown University with a master's degree in education.
Brittney and her husband, Bryce, reside in Macungie with their son, Brayden.
