SEASON SUMMARIES

• One of five Golden Bear harriers to compete in all six meets
• Continued streak of running in every KU meet since the start of his freshman year
• Recorded a pair of top 20 finishes
• Turned in a 5k PR (16:40) and a season-best seventh-place finish at the Franklin & Marshall Alumni meet, Sept. 5
• KU's fifth scoring runner with a 36th-place effort (26:23.1, 8k) at the Lehigh Paul Short Run, Oct. 5
• Fourth-highest finisher on the team (14th) with an 8k time of 26:49.6 at the Bloomsburg Invitational, Oct. 12
• Placed 62nd at the PSAC Championships, Oct. 25 (27:30.5, 8k)

• Ran in all six races for the Maroon and Gold
• Came on strong at the end of the season, posting team-best finishes at the PSAC and NCAA DII Atlantic Region meets
• Opened the season with a 13th-place showing out of 98 runners at the 5k (17:03) Ramapo Invitational, Aug. 31
• Crossed the line 26th at the KU DII/III Challenge, Sept. 15, with an 8k time of 27:54.8
• Claimed All-PSAC Second Team honors with a 23rd-place finish at the PSAC Championship in Edinboro, Nov. 3

• Ran in all six meets for Kutztown during his first collegiate season
• Team's top runner in each of its first three races
• Debuted with a team-best eighth-place finish and an 8k PR (25:55.47) at the Salisbury Fall Classic, Sept. 2
• Paced the Bears with a 20th-place run (27:21, 8k) at the DII/DIII Challenge, Sept. 16
• Top KU performer at the Paul Short Invitational, Sept. 29, taking 75th of 206 competitors (26:02, 8k)
• Finished 53rd in first PSAC Championship meet, Oct. 21
• Second-highest KU finisher at the NCAA DII Atlantic Region Championship, Nov. 4, placing 50th in 33:07.3 (10k)

• Son of Kerry and Donald Barney
• Has three sisters: Corinne, Madeline and Annelise
• Madeline is a freshman on the KU women's cross country and track & field teams in 2020-21
• Biology major with a organismal biology/ecology specialization
