2008-2009: Gray averaged 5.6 points from the bench, playing in all 33 games for KU. Gray was one of KU's top shooters from 3, making 39.8 percent of his long-range shots (39-of-98). Gray also had 49 assists and 26 steals, while averaging 20.2 minutes per game.

Prior to KU
Gray, as a freshman, played in 25 games last season for Harcum College, scoring 7.4 points per game. He hit 34 3-pointers and 60 field goals. He recorded 61 assists and 37 steals.
