Scott Blair returns to Kutztown University as a volunteer assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2025-26. He previously spent six seasons on the Golden Bears' bench in an assistant role between 2005-06 and 2018-24.

Prior to KU, Blair served as the inaugural head men's basketball coach at SUNY-ESF in Syracuse, N.Y., for eight seasons (2010-18). He led the Mighty Oaks to two conference playoff berths in their three years of eligibility.  Blair also was named the HVIAC Conference Coach of the Year for the 2016-17 campaign and was inducted into the SUNY-ESF Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021 for his coaching contributions.

From 2006-08, Blair served as an assistant coach at Onondaga Community College, helping the program to Mid-State Athletic Conference championships both seasons (2006-07 and 2007-08).

Blair began his coaching career at Kutztown Area High School from 2001-05 as a boys' varsity assistant coach.

A 2003 and 2006 Kutztown University graduate, Scott holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education and master's degree in higher education administration. He lives locally with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Sydney.
