2010 Game-by-Game Statistics

2010 Highlights: Started every game and led the Golden Bears with 92 tackles. He recorded first career interception and returned it 24 yards against CW Post. He had seven pass breakups and one quarterback hurry. Irwin had five double-digit tackle games: 12 against Shippensburg, 11 each against Lock Haven and Millersville, and 10 each against Mercyhurst and Bloomsburg. Irwin forced a fumble against Saint Anselm. He had a sack against Shepherd in NCAA playoff game and a half-sack against Mercyhurst. The Golden Bears set school records for wins in a season (10), PSAC East wins (six), points scored (466), and most consecutive wins to begin the season (nine). Kutztown was the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II Super One Regional playoffs. Honors: all-PSAC East first team.

 

2009 Highlights: Led the Golden Bears with 92 tackles and his 10.5 tackles for loss tied was tied for second. Irwin had two passes defended. He had a career-high 14 tackles against Clarion. He also had 11 tackles against Bloomsburg and 10 against both Millersville and Indiana. In his junior season, Irwin was selected to the PSAC East second team.Irwin played in 15 games and started in five over two seasons for the Golden Bears, recording 64 tackles, 35 solo and seven for a loss. Irwin took a 20-yard fumble recovery in for a touchdown in a victory over Cheyney in 2008.
