Former Golden Bear Matt Pirolli returns to Kutztown as the assistant wide receivers coach in 2020.
The Warminster, Pennsylvania, native donned the Maroon and Gold from 2010-13, catching 16 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown over his final three seasons. Pirolli was part of Kutztown's 2010 and 2011 NCAA Division II playoff teams and the program's first-ever PSAC championship in 2011.
In 2014, Pirolli served as a student assistant wide receivers coach on Jim Clements' first KU coaching staff as the Golden Bears turned in a 6-5 record that included a victory over nationally-ranked Indiana (Pa.).
Following his time at KU, Pirolli spent three seasons as the wide receivers coach at Central Bucks West High School from 2015-17. He took over as offensive coordinator at Pennridge High School in 2018, a position he held for two seasons before transitioning back to his alma mater.
Pirolli is a 2014 graudate of KU with a degree in history.
