Jared Haas concluded his third season on the Kutztown football coaching staff in 2013, and first as an assistant coach for the offensive line. He also acts as the academic coordinator and is one of the leaders in the strength and conditioning program.

Haas worked with the running backs in his first two seasons with the Golden Bears. Since joining the staff in 2011, Haas has guided three all-conference running backs, including two in his first year in 2011.

As a player at Kutztown, Haas was a two-year captain and started every game along the offensive line during his senior year in 2010. He was the anchor for a record-setting offense. In addition to setting a school record for wins in a season with 10, Haas provided protection for an offense that set a school record for points in a season with 466. The Golden Bears qualified for the NCAA Division II Super Region I playoffs and earned the No. 1 seed. Kutztown also began the season with a 9-0 record.

With a 4.0 GPA, Haas was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic College Division All-District II second team. He was a three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference scholar-athlete and a two-time member of the Association of Athletics Directors (ADA) All-Academic team. Haas was the recipient of the Presidential Academic Scholarship, the Robert Holmes Burger King Athletic Scholarship and was a volunteer for the Special Olympics. He was honored by the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The National Football Foundation.
Haas graduated from Kutztown in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education.
